Blood on the tracks

Blood on the tracks

A 20-year-old woman nearly bled to death following a violent altercation at the Sheepshead Bay Road subway stop last week.

Police said that a few angry words exchanged on the platform at 10:12 a.m. October 15 had dire consequences for the victim, as well as a stint in jail for her two teenage assailants.

Officials were told that the victim, 18-year-old Kahlema Tillman and the young woman’s 14-year-old friend began arguing after Tillman’s umbrella accidentally hit the woman.

The heated conversation quickly turned violent, with the 14-year-old restraining the victim’s arms behind her back while Tillman allegedly punched her in the face and pulled her hair.

Tillman then pulled a razor and cut the victim’s wrist, severing an artery, officials allege.

Horrified witnesses said that the victim lost a lot of blood before she could be rushed to Lutheran Medical Center, where she underwent emergency surgery.

Cops caught up with Tillman and her 14-year-old accomplice a short time later, charging them with assault in the first degree, menacing, criminal possession of a weapon and harassment.

When questioned, Tillman admitted to using a razor against the woman, officials from the Kings County District Attorney’s office said.

Caught in the act

Cops arrested two would-be gunmen after rolling by an attempted robbery in Brighton Beach last week.

Police said that 19-year-old Michael Lvovsky and 21-year-old Vadim Milter were charged with attempted robbery, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the hold-up at the corner of Brightwater Avenue and Brighton 15th Street during the early-morning hours of October 16.

The victim was nearing the corner at 1:30 a.m. when Lvovsky and Milter allegedly approached him. One of them appeared to have a pistol in his hand, police alleged.

“Give me your f—kin’ money!” one of the alleged thieves yelled – just as a patrol car rolled by, officials said.

The two suspects fled, leaving behind their “weapon,” a black Berretta pellet gun, police said.

Both men were rounded up after a search of the area and taken into custody without incident.

Pistoleer search

Cops are looking for a gun-toting goon responsible for robbing a 16-year-old at a Sheepshead Bay corner.

The teen told police that he was nearing the corner of Avenue X and Bragg Street at 10:40 p.m. on October 15 when the suspect, described only as a black male in his early 20s, approached.

The thief flashed his gun, ordered the victim to empty his pockets and ran off with the teen’s cell phone, said police.

Cops are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward.

Calls can be made to the 61st Precinct at (718) 627-6611. All calls will be kept confidential.

Bathroom break

A Bath Beach gas station attendant was attacked last week after he refused some much-needed relief to a customer needing to use the station bathroom, officials said.

Prosecutors said that Robert Gangone, 33, gave new meaning to the phrase bathroom break when he allegedly pummeled an employee at the Exxon/Mobil station on Bath Avenue and Bay 31st Street after the worker refused to let him relieve himself on the premises.

Police said that the worker sustained a bloody nose and a cut lip.

Gangone was charged with assault in the third degree, menacing and harassment, prosecutors said.

Livery lunacy

A 22-year-old livery cab driver was arrested last week after he allegedly went ballistic on another Coney Island hack, officials said.

Prosecutors said that cops from the 60th Precinct were called to the corner of Mermaid and Stillwell at 7 p.m. on October 14 when the two cab drivers were found quarrelling.

Cabbie Mohamed Radwan was charged with criminal mischief when the other cabbie alleged that the 22-year-old had punched his side-view mirror, breaking it.

It was unclear what sparked the argument. The victimized cabbie, who was not named as this paper went to press, was reportedly facing criminal charges as well, officials said.

Perry’s pluck

Some late-night diners busted their way into Perry’s Restaurant, 3482 Nostrand Avenue, last week, officials said.

Police were told that $400 in receipts was removed from the restaurant sometime between 4 a.m. and 5:15 a.m. on October 18.

The thieves entered after breaking a side window, but exited in a more genteel way, according to officials: they reportedly unlocked the front door and closed it behind them as they left.

One upping upset

A 13-year-old boy was arrested for robbery last week after he led another teen to believe that he and his family were armed to the teeth.

The teen, who police did not named because of his age, approached his 15-year-old victim at the corner of West Street and Avenue X at 5:50 p.m. on October 13 and demanded $5 from him.

“I have a knife and my cousin has a gun,” he threatened. “I’ll go get him.”

His victim didn’t need to be convinced, but only had $1 to spare.

The 13-year-old ran off with the buck, but didn’t get far, said police, who arrested the thief without incident a short time later.

Cell phone deposit

Cops have arrested a man who allegedly took a cell phone as a down payment while shaking down a victim in Bensonhurst last month.

Officials said this week that Asad Mujalli, 25, was charged with grand larceny, robbery, menacing and harassment for allegedly stopping a man on 85th Street and 23rd Avenue at 7:30 a.m. back on September 18.

According to prosecutors, Mujalli allegedly demanded that the victim hand over his cash.

When the victim refused, he allegedly grabbed the man’s cell phone, claiming that if he wanted it back he would have to bring $50 to him the next day, officials said.

Basement break-in

A thief wormed his way into a Manhattan Beach home, where over $1,300 in jewelry was taken.

Police said that someone broke a basement window to the Kensington Street address sometime between 11 a.m. and 9:20 p.m. on October 18. The 73-year-old homeowner said he was on an outing with his family when the break-in took place.

Once inside, the thief scoured the home, finding a loaded jewelry box in the master bedroom, officials said.

Cops were still looking for the thief as this paper went to press.

Three on one

Cops are looking for three thugs who beat and robbed a 58-year-old man as he walked down 86th Street recently.

The victim said that he was nearing 15th Avenue just after midnight on October 11 when the three males jumped him.

The suspects punched and kicked the victim as they rifled through the man’s pockets, taking his credit cards and a debit card, officials said.

The victim suffered some cuts and bruises, officials said.

Cops are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward.

Calls can be made to the 62nd Precinct at (718) 236-2611. All calls will be kept confidential.

Just for ‘kicks’

A simple sneaker sale went horribly wrong for a Bensonhurst 17-year-old who police said was recently robbed of his own footwear, as well over $200 and cell phone.

The victim told police that he had sold a pair of sneakers to an acquaintance earlier this month.

On October 10, the same man called the victim, claiming that there was something wrong with the sneakers, and he wanted to exchange them.

The victim agreed to meet with the irate customer at the corner of 20th Avenue and 82nd Street at 8 p.m. that night, but the second transaction didn’t go as smoothly as the first.

During the bartering process, the buyer, who came with a friend, demanded his money and cell phone.

The sneakers the victim was sporting had to go too, the thief claimed.

Realizing he was outnumbered – and out-muscled – the victim did what he was told, said police.
