Police Officer Leon Batson and Sergeant Edward Kraemer of the 70th Precinct were all smiles last week after they were honored by members of the Flatbush Avenue Business Improvement District (BID).
Gathering at the Floridian Diner, Flatbush Avenue and Avenue S, BID members said that the two officers were instrumental in protecting their businesses and customers as well as making sure that traffic continues to move on the heavily congested avenue.
The two cops are assigned to the northern end of Flatbush Avenue between Cortelyou Road and Parkside Avenue.
