Rory McIlroy’s Claret Jug poured full of Jagermeister

If there’s a trophy with Rory McIlroy’s name on it, there’s liable to be a bottle with some Jagermeister in it close at hand.

The 25-year-old’s celebration after winning the British Open on Sunday featured the syrupy booze, with a friend loading up the Claret Jug while McIlroy’s mother, Rosie, held it in place.

McIlroy has a taste for Jager — it also filled his US Open trophy back in 2011.

McIlroy’s celebratory drinking is certainly more cost conscious than the toasts of Phil Mickelson, who humble-bragged about sipping a five-figure bottle of wine out of the Jug following his victory last year.
