City agencies set for a ‘fee’-for-all

Get ready to shell out more money to park at a muni-meter in Manhattan, request to do business with the city or apply for a construction permit.

City agencies, ordered to slash their budgets, are hoping new or higher fees will help them avoid making some painful cuts.

The Transportation Department is proposing a 50-cent hike in muni-meter rates. All drivers would pay $2.50 an hour from Battery Park to 86th Street between Second and Ninth avenues.

The Buildings Department plans to raise its application fee for commercial projects from $35 to $165.

And the Office of Contract Services wants any vendor seeking a city job to pay an application fee.
