The world’s most famous smoker — a 2-year-old whose picture puffing away caused an Internet sensation — is down from 40 cigarettes a day to a mere 15, it was reported yesterday.
Little Ardi Rizal, of Indonesia, picked up the habit at 18 months, when his fishmonger dad gave him his first cigarette.
The chain-smoking left him so out of shape, he wasn’t able to play with other kids from his village and got around on a toy truck.
But after “therapy focused on playing,” he’s managed to cut back by nearly 40 percent, Britain’s Sun newspaper said.
His father, Mohammad, had never seen it as a problem, insisting the boy looked “pretty healthy.”
So officials in the town of Musi Banyuasin gave him an incentive to help his son break the habit — they’ve offered the family a car if little Ardi quits completely.
