‘Harry Potter’ star Emma Watson replaced as face of Burberry: Sky News

“Harry Potter” star Emma Watson has been replaced as the face of fashion house Burberry for a forthcoming advertising campaign, Sky News reported Thursday.

The move comes despite the fact that the actress, who plays Hermione in the films, is credited with boosting sales during her year-long association with the brand.

Watson, 20, is being sidelined in favor of another British star, 23-year-old “Transformers” actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Huntington-Whiteley will front the commercials for Burberry’s autumn and winter collections, but the company has not ruled out using Watson again in the future.

The British firm reported double digit sales growth and a 24 percent rise in revenues over the last three months ending in June.
