‘American Idol” is finally wrapping up its auditions and heading to Hollywood tomorrow.

Speculation about which of the dozens and dozens of singers showcased over the last few weeks have made it to the Top 40 has been floating around for weeks, but “Idol” spoiler site joesplaceblog.com has what’s purported to be the definitive list of semifinalists.

You’ll be pleased to know that some of your faves have made the list. Among the contestants said to have successfully passed Round 2 are:

* Hometown girl Pia Toscano of Howard Beach is taking a stab at her second Hollywood audition. (She made it to LA in Season 6, but didn’t make the final cut.) The LaGuardia High School grad and singer in local wedding band Current Affair Music, started singing at age 4 and has sung the national anthem at a Mets game.

* Oak Forest, Ill.’s Chris Medina, 26 — on track to be this season’s Danny Gokey sob story — made fans weep with his dedication to his wheelchair-bound fiancee, who got into a terrible car accident and suffered a debilitating traumatic brain injury a scant two months before they were to be married. After seeing him on TV, “Idol” fans rallied to donate money for her therapy.

* Melodica-toting Casey Abrams, of Idyllwild, Calif., showed off his soulful scat singing technique, surprising the trio of judges who were no doubt expecting something completely different from the unassuming 19-year-old film camp employee.

* British transplantHollie Cavanagh, 17, flubbed her first song, but regrouped to give it another shot. Through tears, the student managed to do the unthinkable and get the judges to change their minds.

* Fifteen-year-old Jacee Badeaux took full advantage of the newly lowered “Idol” tryout age and charmed the judges with his “sweet” voice. The Lafayette, La. high schooler won the local Baton Rogue “Idol” competition last year.

Fox hasn’t released details about how the Top 40 get whittled down to the finalists — who’ll be announced Feb. 24 — but it’s rumored that part of the process includes singing a song alongside the cast of the Beatles-inspired Cirque du Soleil show, “Love,” in Las Vegas.

It’s also been reported that fans will be allowed to vote online for the Top 12 finalists, with the judges getting three additional “wildcard” picks, to bump it up to a Top 15 group of finalists who’ll compete live.
