Naked couple jumps from Tappan Zee Bridge

A naked man and woman parked their Chevy Tahoe in the right lane of the Tappan Zee Bridge this morning and jumped off together — holding hands right before they plummeted hundreds of feet into the Hudson River.

The woman — described as late 20’s to early 30’s — was pulled from the water alive, but died from her injuries shortly after, police said.

Her partner — who cops said was 44 years old — survived and was taken to nearby Nyack Hospital, where he is listed in extremely critical condition.

The suicidal couple drove up the three-mile long bridge in the southbound lanes around 9 a.m. this morning, police said.

“It was construction workers that saw them jump and other construction workers (underneath the bridge) that pulled them out,” said New York State Trooper Glen Williams.

He said the drop was between 175 feet to 250 feet.

Police are withholding the dead woman’s name pending family notification.
