Lindsay’s Lo-price defense

Lindsay Lohan doesn’t want to pay retail, even in court!

Lohan, charged with grand theft for allegedly swiping a $2,500 necklace, will reportedly argue that the bling in question is worth far less than list — and under the legal line where misdemeanors turn into felonies.

Of course, the “Mean Girls” star still insists she never stole a thing. She pleaded not guilty last week to the charge, which carries a maximum three years behind bars.

But even if Lohan, 24, did help herself to a five-finger discount, her defense team plans to make a Plan B argument.

“We intend to challenge the prosecution’s case because the truth is, Ms. Lohan didn’t steal anything,” defense lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley told People magazine.

“But even if she had, it seems to me that the appropriate charge, based on the fair-market value of the goods, should have been petty theft and not grand theft.”
