Moncler Grenoble

One thing you’ll never see at a fashion show: a schlubby commuter in a Jaromir Jagr Ranger’s jersey in the front row. But Moncler Grenoble’s show defied logic, thanks to it’s location in the middle of Grand Central Terminal. Plebeians en route to their trains were shuffled to the side (and treated to the best free show in the Big Apple next to those Mariachis on the subway) to make way for the large formation of male and female models dressed in the luxurious ski brand while the fashion pack huddled into the balcony for champagne and a bird’s eye view. Music began blaring and models surprisingly erupted into a thrilling routine that included everything from ballet to pop and tap as a soundtrack of “Love Train” and “Let’s Go Crazy” played. The dancers masquerading as mannequins donned yellow goggles, belted Alpine sweaters, and the label’s trademark puffer jackets in a wintery mix of gray, burgundy, hunter green and gold.
