Brooklyn

A woman learned the hard way to always pay your cabdriver — especially when you’re smashed.

A drunken Sophia Bazile, 30, was taken by her angry yellow-cab driver straight to the 83rd Precinct station house in Bushwick Sunday after she refused to cough up a $16.50 fare and her friend vomited in the back seat, law-enforcement sources said Monday.

Bazile and three female friends flagged down the cabby, 29, at Stanton and Essex streets on Manhattan’s Lower East Side at around 4:30 a.m., the sources said.

The driver dropped off two of the foursome in Manhattan.

Bazile then asked him to take her and her remaining friend to Greene Avenue in Bushwick, the sources said.

When they arrived, Bazile allegedly wouldn’t pay the fare and, to make matters worse, her friend barfed on the seat before stumbling out of the cab.

The fed-up driver locked the doors to keep Bazile from fleeing and sped toward the station house, the sources said.

On the way there, Bazile allegedly tore the driver’s shirt and slugged him in the head, causing minor injuries.

At the station house, she was promptly arrested on charges of assault, theft of services and menacing.
