Fieri tries again: New venture in Calif.

TV food star Guy Fieri is opening a new eating place — far from the cranky critics of New York.

Fieri’s company — called Knuckle Sandwich LLC — has submitted plans to open a wine-tasting room on the site of a five-acre Sonoma County, Calif., vineyard he bought last year, according to reports.

The star of the Food Network series “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” intends to build a tasting room with a commercial kitchen to serve food.

Fieri opened a huge tourist restaurant in Times Square called Guy’s American Kitchen and Bar last fall.

The restaurant became a news story when New York food critics buried the place in bad reviews. The Post’s own Steve Cuozzo said he would not feed the food served there to a cat.
