The summer’s guiltiest pleasure is well into the swing of things.
On Thursday night’s episode of “Big Brother,” the houseguests on the show’s 16th season evicted the second contestant, and portraits of the people are starting to emerge.
The undisputed breakout star so far is Devin Shepherd, a 26-year-old former pro baseball player who seems determined to ruin his own game and anger every single person in the house.
But Devin is just one of many, many wackadoos to play “Big Brother” over its long run.
Here are the nuttiest of the nuttiest.
Devin Shepherd (Season 16)
Yep, two weeks in, Devin already makes the all-time list. It took him a matter of days to create a far-too-large alliance, which he then proceeded to destroy.
He changes emotions at the toss of a coin, has zero self-awareness and also likes to talk down to women.
Aaryn Gries (Season 15)
Aaryn was crazy in that she thought she could get away with being incredibly racist on national TV. Not so much.
Justin Sebik (Season 2)
After threatening one houseguest, Sebik held a knife to another contestant’s throat and said, “Would you get mad if I killed you?” The NJ bartender was kicked out of the house.
“Evel” Dick Donato (Seasons 8 and 13)
Dick’s game plan was essentially to intimidate everyone and be as rude and awful as possible. Unfortunately, his aggressive tactics worked — he won his first season.
Rachel Reilly (Seasons 12 and 13)
Rachel was a complete and utter mess on her first outing. She cried like crazy and fell madly in love with Brendon Villegas, creating the most obnoxious “showmance” of all time.
But she was also a power player, dominating challenges and strategy sessions, which helped her take home the prize when she returned for the following season.
Willie Hantz (Season 14)
The brother of the very crazy “Survivor” contestant Russell Hantz, Willie was kicked off the show very early on after he went on a rage-filled tantrum and head-butted another contestant.
