Hit and run driver arrested after killing woman who was fleeing from gunman

Police arrested the hit and run driver who struck and killed a woman as she fled from a gunman outside of a Bronx club, authorities said.

Leroy Forest, 31 has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death after he slammed his SUV into Harlem resident Abigail Lino, 24, 3 a.m. Saturday as she was running out of the Black Falcons Motorcycle Club in Longwood.

Lino’s friends told The Post that the woman was fleeing a man who had a gun at the club when she sprinted into traffic on Bruckner Boulevard near Austin Place and was hit by Forest who left her for dead.

Forest is awaiting arraignment at Bronx Criminal Court.
