Fire tears through Brooklyn auto shop

A vicious blaze tore through a Brooklyn auto shop Saturday, leaving one man badly burned, fire officials said.

The flames ripped through the garage of Eastern Auto Center Inc. on Bushwick Avenue near Eastern Parkway just after noon, officials said, reducing several cars to burned out shells.

Witnesses and sources said the fire was most likely sparked by one of the cars and did not immediately appear suspicious.

The victim was rushed to Weill Cornell Medical center in serious but stable condition, the FDNY said.
