The Who: A mixture of bloggers and top editors, such as We Wore What’s Danielle Bernstein, and NYLON’s Dani Stahl.
The What: Known for her hip interpretation of classic American sportswear, Jenni Kayne delivered a collection infused with color blocking, lightweight shift dresses, feminine separates and menswear-inspired suiting, with a color palette ranging from neutrals to soft pink. The collection, as a whole, had an easy, breezy chicness with 100 percent wear ability, perfect for those warmer spring and summer months.
The Highlight: The shoes – think classic with a twist. We particularly can’t wait to don a pair of the white platform oxfords. Also, the models were sporting white and nude half-moon manicures, a refreshing alternative to the over-the-top nail art of past seasons.
The Takeaway: Kayne proved that white is not going anywhere, confirming that it is once again spring’s hottest hue.
