TLC cop injured by rogue driver

A Taxi and Limousine Commission cop was injured Sunday when a rogue livery driver hit her while fleeing a ticket, officials said.

The officer, whose name and age weren’t immediately available, was struck around 1:25 p.m. at the corner of Sutphin Boulevard and Archer Avenue while trying to ticket the hack, police said.

The perp was behind the wheel of a black Lincoln Town Car at the time, police said.

The driver threw his ride into reverse, slammed on the gas and left the cop lying in the street with a head injury, authorities said.

The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition and expected to survive, officials added.

Police canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspect. It was not immediately clear what infraction led to the stop.
