“Community” star Joel McHale will host this year’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
The annual event – which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year — will take place on May 3, 2014 at The Washington Hilton.
Presented by the White House Correspondents’ Association, the dinner is attended by the Washington press corps, the President and First Lady, and increasingly, the Hollywood glitterati.
(Celebs at last year’s dinner included “House of Cards” star Kevin Spacey, “Homeland” star Claire Danes and the stars of “Ducky Dynasty.”)
Past hosts of the dinner have included Conan O’Brien (last year) , Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Meyers and Jay Leno.
McHale plays Jeff Winger on “Community” and also hosts “The Soup” on E!
