Dressing like a princess is one thing, but being styled like a sassy villainess is quite another.
Angelina Jolie and Stella McCartney are teaming up with Disney to create a children’s capsule collection inspired by the upcoming film, “Maleficent.”
The “Maleficent by Stella McCartney Kids” collection will feature eight styles including princess dresses and sandals for girls, as well as T-shirts and sneakers for boys. The pieces, ranging from $75 to $185, are set to hit Stella McCartney boutiques, Disney stores and online at the end of April.
“I’ve always been a huge fan of Disney growing up, as was my mother, and I grew up watching all the films like most kids did,” McCartney told Women’s Wear Daily. “When the opportunity presented itself and I was invited by Angelina Jolie to visit the film set, I jumped at the chance.”
“Maleficent” hits theaters on May 30.
