Three of newly flush ‘Central Park 5’ say they’ll keep on working

Three members of the Central Park Five say they intend to keep working despite winning a $40.7 million settlement from the city.

The five men wrongfully accused of raping a jogger in Central Park in 1989 will each receive a million dollars for every year they spent behind bars.

Antron McCray, Kevin Richardson, Raymond Santana and Yusef Salaa are set to receive $7 million each.

Kharey Wise, who spent 13 years in prison, is set to receive $13 million.

“Although it’s a significant amount of money, it’s not enough. I will keep on working,” said Salaam, an IT worker for a hospital.
