Staten Island student jumps to his death at Baruch

A 20-year-old student jumped to his death from the window of a classroom at Baruch College during finals week on Monday.

Kevin Manirampa, of Staten Island, leaped from the building on Lexington Avenue at around 2:45 p.m.and landing on a fourth floor terrace, cops said.

“It was pretty traumatizing,” said a witness, Harris Hamid, 21. “It’s finals week. People are pressured.”
