INSIDE THE MATCHUPS

Mets: Harvey had the poorest outing of his breakout season in a no-decision on Wednesday — albeit a start better than nearly any other Mets pitcher has turned in this year. He allowed three earned runs on four hits, walked one and struck out seven in six innings in what turned into a 7-3 Mets victory. He has never faced the Marlins.

Marlins: Fernandez, who will be making his fifth career start, lost 4-3 at Minnesota on Tuesday. He went five innings, allowing four earned runs on six hits, walking two and striking out two. He made his major league debut on April 7 at Citi Field, allowing just one run in five innings and striking out eight, but losing 4-3 as the Mets rallied in the ninth.

STAT SO?

Mets: The Mets have not lost a game started this season by Harvey, who has allowed one run or fewer in nine of his 15 major league starts.

Marlins: After a 72-at-bat homerless drought dating to

Oct. 1 of last year, Giancarlo Stanton has three home runs in his last six at-bats.
