A reclusive Rockland County man who lived in a rundown shack — without running water or heat — turned out to be a secret millionaire, friends and neighbors told The Post.
George Konnight, 79, who had $3 million in the bank — but had never been to the dentist or owned a phone — was discovered dead by cops on his family farm in Ramapo on Friday, sources said.
Konnight struck it rich selling part of his family’s 200 acres, said Thomas O’Connell, a lawyer who looked after him and his sisters.
“He had been living in that house since he was born . . . It was an odd style of living, but he liked it,” O’Connell said.
