Umbrella ‘bop’ lawsuit

A Harlem man claims he was seriously hurt in Union Square after he was socked with a large umbrella that came flying off a nearby roof.

Adam Woomer, 31, was walking along Union Square South when he was hit, according to a lawsuit.

“It is a huge umbrella,” said his lawyer, Paul LaClair. “He got clobbered.”

The building owner, 14th Street Associates, could not be reached for comment.
