Nets going Dodgers-style with new uniforms

The new team on the block is paying homage to the old team from Flatbush Avenue.

The Brooklyn Nets have unveiled an alternate home jersey — to be worn for five games at Barclays Center in March and April — that resembles an old Brooklyn Dodgers jersey.

The shirts are gray with blue trim — a dash of color for the normally black-and-white Nets — and short sleeves, which seem to be all the rage in NBA uniforms these days.

Word on the street is Miles Plumlee will be allowed to wear Pee Wee Reese’s retired No. 1.
