Hasidic man assaulted in Brooklyn

A Jewish man visiting from England was assaulted in Brooklyn early Tuesday morning in what cops are investigating as a possible bias attack, authorities said.

The 65-year-old victim was walking on McDonald Avenue near Avenue F in Borough Park at about 2:30 a.m. when he was shoved to the ground, police said. The male assailant said nothing, then fled, according to cops.

The victim, a Hasidic Jew, suffered a bloody lip and a chipped tooth, and was treated at an area hospital, authorities said.
