Scott Foley has graduated to a series regular on ABC’s red-hot drama “Scandal.”
Foley, who plays mysterious military man Jake Ballard, joined the series for the second half of last season, when his character embarked on an affair with Olivia (series star Kerry Washington) while spying on her for President Fitzgerald “Fitz” Grant (Tony Goldwyn).
In last month’s season finale, Ballard was thrown down a hole, his fate left unresolved.
Foley — who found TV fame on The WB’s “Felicity” around 10 years ago — is currently co-starring on Fox’s “The Goodwin Games.”
That series isn’t expected to be renewed for a second season after premiering to low ratings.
