It’s hard to believe that after this Sunday’s episode of “True Blood,” the final season of the hit blood-sucking series will be half over.
What will we do without Anna Paquin’s contrived Louisiana accent, Stephen Moyer’s pasty creepiness and Alexander Skarsgård’s abs?
But there’s good news! Even though the folks of Bon Temps will be packing up their stuff, the actors themselves will be moving on to bigger and better things.
Here’s where you can catch them all next.
Deborah Ann Woll
On Thursday, news broke that the starlet who plays red-headed baby vamp Jessica has landed the leading lady role in Netflix’s upcoming “Daredevil” series.
She’ll be tackling Karen Page, the blind lawyer who Ellen Pompeo played as a supporting character in Ben Affleck’s 2003 movie flop. The series will debut next year.
Anna Paquin
Sookie Stackhouse doesn’t have any upcoming projects announced, but she did just dye her hair “mermaid” purple.
Alexander Skarsgård
Already one of the busiest stars outside of the show, Skarsgård appears in next month’s adaptation of “The Giver” as the father alongside Katie Holmes’ mother. After that, he’ll pop up as the star of the thriller “Hidden” and in the coming-of-age tale “The Diary of a Teenage Girl” opposite Kristen Wiig.
His big moment, though, will come in 2016, when he stars in the title role of the summer tentpole “Tarzan.”
Stephen Moyer
The show’s original vampire has not revealed his next move, but he’ll certainly be busy raising his four children, two of whom he shares with wife Paquin.
Joe Manganiello
Alcide may no longer be of this world, but Manganiello is all over Hollywood. He just released his male stripper documentary, “La Bare”, after starring as a stripper himself in “Magic Mike.”
He’s set for the sequel to that film, “Magic Mike XXL,” as well as the upcoming comedy “Shoplifters of the World.” His production company also has several projects in the works, for which Manganiello could star, produce and direct.
Ryan Kwanten
The smokin’ Aussie has a part in Sylvester Stallone’s “Crash”-esque drama, “Reach Me,” in theaters in October. He also has two foreign projects in the works.
Sam Trammell
The owner of Merlotte’s will get his chance to shine in the Kickstarter-funded indie drama “The Aftermath.” He plays a junkie trying to save his marriage.
Rutina Wesley
Wesley’s character Tara was the first casualty of the season, but fans can catch her next month in the Patricia Clarkson-led dark comedy, “Last Weekend.”
Nelsan Ellis
Lafayette will trade in his head wraps and pharmaceuticals to play Bobby Byrd in the James Brown biopic “Get on Up,” in theaters August 1.
Kristin Bauer van Straten
It couldn’t be more fitting that the actress who plays the sexy, saucy vampire Pam will next star in the comedy “Teen Lust,” about a teenage boy who must lose his V-card before his parents can sacrifice him to a local cult.
