Billy Ray Cyrus releases rap version of ‘Achy Breaky Heart’

If you weren’t old enough to be annoyed by it the first time then don’t fret- “Achy Breaky Heart” is back!

In a stroke of creative genius that shows he’s still totally down with the kids, Billy Ray Cyrus has revisited his 1992 hit and given it a hip-hop makeover complete with dirty south beats and raps from Buck 22 (son of R & B singer Dionne Warwick). And to round out this deeply confusing experience, the video also features a slew of twerking (naturally) femaliens and a cameo appearance from Larry King.

Of course, “Achy Breaky 2” is a big joke and Cyrus is likely to get at least one laugh for the way he shoehorns in his daughter Miley’s hit “Wrecking Ball.” But Cyrus Snr has dropped the ball slightly because everyone knows that “Achy Breaky Heart” just isn’t the same without that monolithic mullet/ponytail combo that played a starring role in the original video. Grow it back, Billy!
