Great white shark attacks inflatable boat

Incredible footage has emerged of a great white shark taking chunks out of a film crew’s inflatable rubber boat, leaving it to slowly sink.

Nature filmmakers from MaxAnimal Productions were filming for their YouTube channel off the coast of South Africa when the shark first attacked their boat and started chewing on it.

At first, the shark is seen by an underwater camera moving toward the boat.

It then emerges from the ocean and starts attacking the rubber boat not once, but several times.

The filmmakers started to record the incident, getting as close as they possibly could.

Unfortunately for the crew, the boat was not shark-proof: A pontoon on the boat popped and started to sink.

On their YouTube channel, they posted: “Why does a rubber inflatable boat sink in the ocean? Because a Great White Shark has just taken a Chunk out of it!

“Is the scariest part when the shark eyes our folks on the boat? Ah Yeah.”

The company also assured viewers there were no injuries involved.

“No, the shark is fine and so is the crew! Everyone made it out.”
