The principals union has sued the city and Mayor Bloomberg for failing to abide by an arbitrator’s ruling last month that parking permits must be restored to as many as 5,000 school administrators.
The permits were yanked last year in a crackdown on city workers abusing their parking privileges, and as part of a wider campaign to reduce traffic congestion and air pollution.
