Tawdry version of sex and the ‘single’ girl

Ashley Dupre. Eliot Spitzer. They go together.

Like sex and money.

Like Eliot’s pasty, white legs and those kinky, black knee socks he couldn’t quite lose before doing the nasty.

Hey, guys and gals — it’s not too late for true love!

Within days after news broke in The Post that Eliot Spitzer was seeking, as it were, a second coming in politics, the hooker who goes by the stripper name Ashley Alexandra Dupre would not be ignored.

In barely coherent ramblings she posted on the Internet, Ashley revealed not only that she’s failed miserably at turning a profit from turning tricks with the most powerful man in New York state government, but she bared an astonishing whopper of an ego. One that rivals that of her favorite, deluded john, Eliot Laurence “Client 9” Spitzer.

Which is why I believe they belong together. Ashliot! Kind of like a trailer-trash version of Brangelina.

Like Eliot, Ashley displayed amazing chutzpah and lack of self-awareness, lashing out at mean girls who “love to judge” her for working as a whore. Then she claimed that the average single gal in the city or housewife of New Jersey routinely whores herself out for Jimmy Choos!

“Let me say this,” said the failed, high-priced hooker. “Most girls, to varying degrees, of course, want to be pampered and have nice shoes, designer handbags and gorgeous clothes. I know many women who target guys with money and use them to get these things . . .

“Get real and get over yourself.”

After calling all of us hardworking girls nothing better than sluts — or Ashley — she exploited her extra five minutes of fame by releasing her latest recorded warblings, a song called “Inside Out.”

To be as generous as I’m able — and I’m really trying hard! — you would not hear this kind of schlock emanating from the shower of a cathouse.

Ashliot — two misunderstood souls forever linked by sex, scandal, immense ego and expensive footwear.

I’ll vote for Spitzer when he makes Ashley his first lady.

That’s what I’d call honesty in government.
