Housewives of New Jersey fight back

Ashley Dupre has taken a shot at the wrong housewives.

The governor-groping, high-end escort caught some hell yesterday from “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” after she dissed all Garden State family women as pseudo-prostitutes in a blog diatribe.

“It’s just unfortunate that she’s using this to get her name and face out like that,” said Caroline Manzo, one of the cast of the Bravo show.

“She’s entitled to her voice, like we all are, but nobody should have to listen to her.”

In Dupre’s screed, posted online Wednesday, she implied that women who marry rich men are no better than those who dally in the oldest profession.

While she was not talking specifically about Manzo or her fellow reality-TV wives, it was a blanket insult to all married Jersey women.

And “to suggest we’re are no better than prostitutes is just silly,” Manzo said.

Manzo’s sister, Dina, also a member of the cast, took exception to Dupre’s argument that marriage was similar to prostitution.

“I didn’t know prostitutes were in love with [their johns],” she said.
