The Red Bulls yesterday traded forward Dominic Oduro in exchange for Houston’s highest first-round draft pick next year and a second-round pick in 2011.
The Red Bulls also waived goalkeeper Terry Boss, brother of Giants TE Kevin Boss. The former move opens up a spot on the roster, but the latter doesn’t since Boss had been on the disabled list.
In January the Red Bulls sent Dave van den Bergh to Dallas for Oduro and draft picks, hoping he’d partner with Juan Pablo Angel up top. But despite blazing speed, the 23-year-old from Ghana had fallen to fourth on the depth chart and made just three league appearances, one start.

Prices for the skyboxes at the new Red Bull Arena will range from $65,000 to $75,000, the team announced yesterday. The 25,000-seat arena is being constructed in Harrison, N.J., and is scheduled to open for the 2010 season.
The skyboxes and club seats, which comprise 6 percent of the seats in the arena, go on sale June 5.
