An on-duty city sanitation worker and two other men were shot and wounded last night on a Brooklyn street.
The 30-year-old member of New York’s Strongest, whose name was withheld, was operating a mechanical broom when he took a short break on Lenox Road in Flatbush at 7 p.m.
Suddenly, a gunman opened fire, hitting the sanitation worker in the stomach. The other victims were hit in the leg and elbow.
All were taken to Kings County Hospital; their injuries were not considered to be life threatening, cops said.
The shooter fled in a car, and a motive for the attack wasn’t known.
