CHANEL SUES: KNOCK IF OFF

Chanel claims it’s caught a whiff of trademark infringement coming from a Manhattan jewelry store.

The famed French fashion house is suing Joseph Anthony Inc. for allegedly selling “counterfeit jewelry, necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings” at its West 36th Street shop.

The Manhattan federal suit reserves the right to demand $2 million “per each counterfeit Chanel trademark used and product sold.”
