TASTELESS ABOUT ACTOR’S DEATH

I truly enjoy The Post, but you have crossed the line with your headline “Hung Fu!” (June 5) in regard to the death of actor David Carradine.

Yes, it’s a funny pun but totally disrespectful.

The Post has never been known for sensible, intelligent headlines. Who can forget the classic “Headless Body in Topless Bar”?

But you reached a new reporting low on this talented actor’s death with the headline “Hung Fu!”

The Post should go back to charging 25 cents.

Do you actually think you’re being clever by encapsulating Carradine’s demise with that disgusting headline?

Most people find poking fun at death distasteful, especially that of a long-beloved cultural icon. Is this the kind of crass humor you think readers like?
