Matt Damon sure has a lot to say about whom New Yorkers should vote for, considering that he’s registered in Florida.

The actor yesterday released a video urging Big Apple residents to cast their ballots on the Working Families Party line next week.

The diehard Red Sox fan is so convinced New Yorkers should support the WFP, he promised to don a Yankee cap if the party tallies more than 200,000 votes.

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand has gotten a lot of attention for losing 40 pounds, so it’s no surprise her Republican challenger would hit the gym.

Joe DioGuardi held a press conference yesterday at the Fitness Factory of West Seneca to talk about jobs and the economy, and promised to bring “real solutions to Washington and a new level of federal accountability to the people.”

His rep insisted DioGuardi chose the fitness locale because it was a business that had been hit hard by the recession, not because he was trying to compete with Gillibrand’s newly svelte physique.

Ron Lauder is so concerned that New Yorkers won’t be able to figure out where to find the term-limits proposal on the new paper ballots that he’s buying commercial time on TV to show people how to vote.

Lauder’s group, New Yorkers for Term Limits, is airing two spots reminding people to turn the ballots over to vote on whether the city should bring back a two-term limit for office-holders.

The candidates’ names are on one side, while the proposal — along with one for other City Charter amendments — is on the other.

Of term limits, Lauder said, “It’s like changing diapers. You get rid of them after eight years. Enough is enough.” J
