A Brooklyn man who savagely raped a woman the day after Christmas in 2008 was given an early present this afternoon: a rape conviction.
Isaiah Bridges was found guilty today of the brutal rape involving a correction officer’s girlfriend.
Bridges, 23, followed the woman into her Gravesend apartment, raped her then stole $20 and the battery from his victim’s cell phone.
He also ironically swiped a pair of handcuffs that belonged to her boyfriend.
Sentencing is set for Nov. 29, where he faces up to 25 years in jail.
