A lay at the office

George Costanza isn’t the only one who likes to have sex at work.

A new study has found that 17 percent of Americans admit to doing the nasty in their place of employment.

“People do it because it’s the riskiness of getting caught that’s a turn-on,” said Josh Glick, the COO of Sensis Condoms, which commissioned the survey.

“Some do it for the danger and the fun of getting away with something you probably shouldn’t be doing.”

The study found that acting like George from “Seinfeld” — who got fired in one episode for doing it with a cleaning lady at his new job — isn’t the only way people are putting danger in their love lives.

Sensis also found that 3 percent of Americans claim to have joined the Mile High Club by having sex in an aircraft.

“When you think that there’s 200 people on your flight, someone’s doing it once every two flights,” Glick said. “When you put it in those terms, if you’ve been on a bunch of flights this year, you’ve probably been on one where people were having sex.”

The study also found that the most popular place to have sex outside the home is in the back seat of a car, with 69 percent saying that when their car’s a rockin’, don’t come a knockin’.

Meanwhile, 28 percent said they have had sex in a public park, 8 percent have made love in school, 4 percent said they have done it on a train or a bus and 3 percent have done it inside church or other house of worship. Dear Lord!

“Today, more than ever, Americans are seeking to spice up their sex lives and relationships with a dash of adventure and excitement,” said Beau Thompson, the president of Sensis Condoms.

Meanwhile, the study has found, disturbingly, that 89 percent of people have said that they have forgone using a condom and had unsafe sex.

Why? Forty-nine percent said they weren’t afraid of pregnancy because of other forms of contraceptive, 38 percent thought sex felt better without one, and 14 percent didn’t use a condom just because no one brought it up.
