Maria Shriver turns down numerous TV offers following divorce

LOS ANGELES — Maria Shriver has been inundated with offers to host TV shows since her split with Arnold Schwarzenegger but has turned them all down, TMZ reported Wednesday.

Sources from broadcast and cable networks told the website Shriver was deluged with offers to anchor news shows, join news organizations and host talk shows, but said she wanted to concentrate on being a mother to her children Patrick, 17, Christopher, 13, Katherine, 21, and Christina, 19.

Shriver, 55, filed for divorce from Schwarzenegger, 63, earlier in July, setting the stage for what could be one of the costliest celebrity break-ups in history.

She cited “irreconcilable differences” as her reason for ending the 25-year marriage, following the news her husband fathered a child with a former household staff member.

It is thought Shriver could obtain a divorce settlement approaching $200 million.
