A firefighter has the go-ahead to sue a Staten Island bar for “beer-pong” injuries suffered in 2007.
Thomas Venito, 36, was watching a beer-pong match at KJ’s Ale House and got into an argument over the rules of the game, in which pingpong balls are bounced on a table into beer-filled cups.
He suffered a broken nose and broken ankle in the fracas.
A Staten Island Supreme Court justice ruled last week that Venito can sue the bar for negligence.
