Colorful B’klyn judge mourned

Scores of mourners packed a Brooklyn synagogue yesterday to pay final respects to a state Supreme Court justice known for handing out condoms to hookers and admitting that he smoked pot to ease his cancer pain.

Pancreatic cancer claimed Justice Gustin Reichbach at age 65 Saturday morning.

Reichbach was an antiwar advocate who, as a lawyer, defended ’60s radical Abbie Hoffman. He later sat on the Brooklyn Civil Court bench for three years and was a Supreme Court justice for the last 18 years of his life.

“Gus lived a grand, unique, and an extraordinary life,” Innocence Project attorney Barry Scheck told mourners at Congregation Mount Sinai.

“He was both fearless and creative, and always a grand gesture. Gus really knew how to live. He had style.”
