A state Assembly candidate running on an anti-gun platform donated $6,000 yesterday to help cover the funeral costs of a 4-year-old boy killed by a stray bullet in The Bronx.
“The United States is 5 percent of the world population, and we have 50 percent of the guns. It should be on everyone’s agenda. Lloyd Morgan’s death could have been prevented,” said Mark Gjonaj, who is running for the Bronx’s 80th Assembly District seat.
