Architect to the rich and famous charged with child pornography

A prominent East End architect secretly took pictures of children at exclusive yachts and at beach clubs and doctored the images to create pornographic sex scenes, the feds charged yesterday.

Jay Lockett Sears — who had a cameo role as a surfer in the 1959 movie “Gidget” — was arrested on child- pornography charges at his East Moriches, LI, home.

Sears, 73, took many of the photos at the Quogue Beach Club, a private recreational facility.

He left the images in a dump while cleaning out a rental property — and a worker who found the stash called authorities. Sears was held without bail after pleading not guilty in Central Islip federal court.

Authorities probed Sears in 2007 for making similar cut-and-paste depictions involving several adult women he was acquainted with but was not charged.

Sears designed homes for celebs such as Michael J. Fox, Susan Lucci and Bob Fosse.
