Actress to jail in DWI slay

A New Jersey judge sentenced a former “Melrose Place” actress to three years in prison yesterday for driving drunk when her SUV plowed into a car and killed a woman.

Amy Locane-Bovenizer faced up to 10 years in prison after a Somerville jury in November convicted her of vehicular homicide in the 2010 death of 60-year-old Helene Seeman in Montgomery.

The judge lowered the maximum sentence due to the hardship on Locane-Bovenizer’s children, one of whom has a medical and mental disability.

The 41-year-old actress apologized to Seeman’s family.
