A bicyclist was fatally struck by a minivan Tuesday in the shadow of Citi Field, authorities said.
The victim was riding westbound on Roosevelt Avenue near 126th Street in Willets Point at 12:45 p.m. when he cut in front of a 2000 Mercury Villager, which hit him, cops said.
The cyclist, whom police had yet to identify, was pronounced dead by first responders.
The driver remained at the scene, officials said.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
