Selena Gomez is all grown up now, dazzling in this leggy one-piece and heels — but as a kid, she was Daddy’s little “wing woman.”
The Disney star’s divorced father regularly took her to Hooters when she was young — to pick up chicks. “When I was 7, my dad would go to Hooters to watch [San Antonio] Spurs games,” the Texas native told Harper’s Bazaar magazine.
“But he started noticing that when I would come, with my little pigtails, all the waitresses would be like, ‘Hey!’ So he ended up half spending time with me but with all those cute girls coming over.”
The “Spring Breakers” star didn’t find her role creepy at all. She laughed it off: “And that became our thing.”
Selena, 20, is still a big Hooters fan and spoke to the mag at a Hooters, while munching a deep-fried pickle.
The former tween star said she keeps her sanity by maintaining a mix of friends that includes pals from Texas and celebrity confidantes like Taylor Swift and Emma Stone.
Justin Bieber’s ex also said she’s just as hard up for love as the rest of us.
She insisted she doesn’t get asked out a lot. “Well, firstly, I look like this all the time,” she says while wearing a flannel shirt and a scarf with a blob of ketchup on it.
“I do not give a damn what I look like. I don’t.”
