Bill Moyers will bring back “Moyers & Company,” after all.
After announcing he was ending his weekly PBS show, Moyers says he’ll bring the show back Jan. 10, cutting it down from an hour to 30 minutes to cut costs. “An hour broadcast every week . . . has been exciting and satisfying, even joyful to produce, but at this age and stage I was prepared to leave the field to the next generation,” he said in a statement.
“What I could not anticipate was the response of our viewers . . . The outpouring is unmistakably about the importance of public broadcasting.”
