Dough suit vs. Ramsay

A Manhattan number-crunching firm is calling celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay an accounting nightmare.

Marks Paneth & Shore filed suit in Manhattan Supreme Court yesterday claiming the British kitchen king owes almost $75,000 in overdue bills for consulting, accounting and tax services dating to September 2009.

Ramsay, 46, and his businesses have “breached their contractual obligations by failing to make payment,” the suit alleges.

The Third Avenue firm sent the hot-tempered chef, who is known for raging at contestants on his reality shows, “Hell’s Kitchen” and “Kitchen Nightmares,” three invoices: for $14,000 in July 2010, $35,000 in May 2011 and $25,000 in October 2011.

Ramsay has not refuted the bills, but he also hasn’t forked over the cash, the suit says.

A spokeswoman for Ramsay said she was unaware of the lawsuit.

His earnings dwarf the next-in-line personality chefs — the magazine estimates cheery Rachael Ray sits on a $25 million fortune and Austrian Wolfgang Puck is listed at $20 million.

Just last week Bravo announced Ramsay would engage American viewers with an across the pond version of his popular series “Ramsay’s Best Restaurant.” The Top Chef-type show will pit 16 restaurants from across the country for a best of crown.
